We shape the dress to you

When you book your fitting, we don't just pin and send you on your way. We talk through the fit and finish you want, suggest any embellishments or lace that would complete the look, and give you a clear, honest price before any work begins, so there are no surprises.

Our Alteration Process

Here is how it works, from your first appointment to picking up your finished dress.

  1. Book your appointment

Everything begins with a booking. Come in with your dress and the shoes you plan to wear on the day, so we can see exactly how everything sits together. The right shoes matter more than most brides expect, especially for the hem. We recommend booking around two months ahead, though if your day is coming up fast, ask us about rush service.

  2. Assessment and needs analysis

We take your full measurements and assess the dress on you. We look at everything that may need adjusting and talk through what you want, whether that's taking in the bodice, adjusting the length, or adding lace and embellishments to make the dress feel truly yours.

  3. Your quote, upfront

Before any work starts, we give you a clear price for your alterations. Bridal work generally ranges from $150 to $700 depending on the amount of work involved, and you'll always know your price before we begin.

  4. Fittings

From there, we bring you in for fittings. Most brides need one to three fittings, though more detailed work can take up to five. Each fitting lets us refine the fit until the dress sits exactly right on you.

  5. Finishing and pick-up

Once the fit is perfect, we complete the final finishing and your dress is ready to collect, beautifully fitted and ready for your day.

Frequently asked questions

How much do bridal alterations cost?

Pricing depends entirely on the work your dress needs. Bridal alterations generally range from $150 to $700, and we always give you a clear price at your first appointment, before any work begins.

How many fittings will I need?

Most brides need one to three fittings. More detailed work, such as extensive resizing or added embellishments, can occasionally take up to five. We'll keep fitting until it's right.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend starting your bridal alterations around two months before your wedding, which gives us comfortable time for fittings and finishing. Working on a tighter timeline? Ask us about rush service. We'll always do our best to accommodate you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your dress, along with the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day. The height of your heel affects the hem, and the right undergarments affect the fit, so having both helps us get everything exactly right from the start.

Do you alter South Asian and fusion bridal wear?

Yes. Alongside wedding gowns, we specialize in lehengas, sarees, and fusion bridal outfits, with the finishing and detailing each style needs.

What else can you alter?

Beyond wedding gowns, we alter bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride and groom outfits, prom and evening gowns, and formal wear of all kinds.
